PANEL REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a professional, hardworking Panel Repair Technician to join our smash repairs business in the beautiful country alpine town of Mansfield.

Whilst we are hiring for a fully qualified technician we would also be open to hiring a third or fourth year apprentice.

You will primarily be responsible for carrying out Repair and Replace work on vehicles damaged in accidents and covered by Insurance with the occasional private client for good measure.

About You

You are a cup half full kind of person, with a “can do” attitude, you’re organised, friendly, polite and enjoy working in a close-knit team and understand that the role you are performing is critical to our customers being able to get on with their life with the least amount of stress often after a stressful incident.

Panel beating is your primary skill base however you are also a team player and can get stuck in and support the rest of the team and business as and when is needed.

To be successful you will have:

• Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body or equivalent
• Vic driver’s license

The role will work with our amazing team which currently includes a Panel Repair tech, a Spray Painter, A Panel Repair Apprentice and Office Administrator and report back to the owners.

This is a very autonomous role that requires a self-starter that can work well with the team and have a bit of fun while they do it.
